Several new, massive online game projects are announced monthly. Everyone wants to capture a good share of the genre’s emerging players, and a lot of “hype” and dreams of glory comes in the wake of most releases. New series of articlesIn this new article series we want in a critical but constructive way, to analyze what players can expect from upcoming massive online games. We will try to put the games’ features and elements up to what other MMO titles have either planned or successful, the game’s strengths and weaknesses, potential, potential traps and so on. In this way we hope to make the consumer a favor by giving more information about their choices. When most RPG fans think of post-apocalyptic worlds, so I think it most often is the word Fallout that hit them first. But with a rapidly growing massive online game industry, and with a Fallout Online with a very uncertain future, other developers created their own post-apocalyptic universe to take this interesting setting in a massive online game. Fallen Earth is an example of such an attempt, and the game has come a long way in its development process. It is still not set a date, but according to the game’s forum is testing well underway and it is possible the game will be released in the second half of 2009. What kind of world? The year is 2156 and the world is in ruins. An almost unstoppable virus has ravaged the game with a vulnerable humanity and nuclear war has taken care of the rest. Some people are still surviving in this bleak version of Earth’s future, and in Fallen Earth, we are able to play some of these people in communities that have survived in the Grand Canyon in the United States. All Fallen Earth content is played out in the Grand Canyon, and the developers have been using real maps to create the game’s environments. Many different societies have occurred after a large part of mankind’s fall, and ideology seems to be the driving force behind the most. In Fallen Earth players get the opportunity to join one of six such different groups. Some stands for order, the other for chaos, some for the environment and others for the development of technology. All groups have their own allies and enemies, and form the basis for many of the game’s conflicts and stories. Players can choose to relate completely neutral in this conflict between groups, but will miss a lot of content and some opportunities to develop their fallen earth chips. Neutral players can still walk everywhere, and in such a way have some benefits to offset the aforementioned disadvantages. World we are presented in Fallen Earth is destroyed and dilapidated. In the closely-spaced mutated creatures and disease and poverty are common. The mixture of genetic modification carried out on purpose, mutations caused by radioactivity and strange consequences of the terrible diseases, has led to many of the Grand Canyons residents have been given new, almost magical abilities, which are called mutations. With these capabilities, players can perform a lot of exciting action, as telekinese, telepathy, spread the disease intentionally or regeneration. World also retains some of the future of powerful technologies such as cloning, so that death is not final for the players. I have no doubt that post-apocalyptic worlds can work just as well as setting the massive online games like fantasy or science-fiction worlds. It is nevertheless important that the developers manage to create a special, special atmosphere which also contains some charm and a couple of bright spots. Fallout universe is a very good example of that humor and nostalgia also has its place in an otherwise gloomy world. Who allow themselves to not be captivated by bottles of Nuka Cola and music from the fifties on the radio in a dark future world?Fallen Earth groupings seem very exciting and well-developed and the story behind the world’s fall and its further development seems interesting and good. The developers are yet to have a challenge to get people interested in their new and unfamiliar setting, especially considering that post-apocalyptic massive online games is still a rarity. At Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon is so well-known landmarks in itself is a force that can offset some of these shortcomings. more information visit: http://www. fallenearthchipsale. com/
